And with that, the curtain falls on another thrilling season of NGS home tournaments! The buzz was electric as the NGS U15B House Team 1 took center stage in Finch on March 9th. A heartfelt shoutout to our generous sponsors Barkley's Store and Laviolette Poultry Farm for fueling our breakfast with their delicious donations. And let's not forget DockRite Boat Lifts, Lafden Pork, and Kiewit for providing some exciting items to our silent auction.

A round of applause for our C champions, the NGS Braves, who brought their A-game to the rink. Shooter Gregor Filliol and goalie Josh Cooper made their mark with trophies for top shooter and top goalie. The skills competition was rounded out by the Cornwall Colts Team 1 winning the relay and agility races. 

The nail-biting finish of the B and A championships culminated in thrilling shootouts that had fans on the edge of their seats.   The Brockville Braves clinched the B championship.  The Gananoque Islanders were victorious in the A championships, in a heart-pounding showdown against A finalists the Casselman Vikings. Cheers to all the teams for an unforgettable season!
